In Newmarket the day starts early, and strings of racehorses depart the various training yards to exercise on the Gallops before breakfast. Warren Hill slopes gently out of the town of Newmarket, and the horses are galloped up the hill then walked down. Here the horses are seen at the top of the hill, there’s a chill in the air and dew on the grass.
